They are: Sabdha (Sound), Sparsa (Touch), Roopa (Form), Rasa (Taste) & Ghandhas (Smell) and Aakasam (Ether), Vaayu (Air), Agni (Fire), Jalam (Water) & Bhoomi (Earth). Ghatakas: Pancha Thanmaathraas + Pancha Sookshma Thathwas (5+5 = 10). Sakthi: Icha Sakthi / Artha Sakthi (Power of desires) The starting point is Pranavam followed by Ahamkaram which is the sound of Brahman then all Gunas:ġ) Though the Three Gunas are basically different and enimical in nature, they always intereact and work together.Ģ) The Three Gunas can never be identified as Pure Satva, or Pure Rajas or Pure Thamas.ģ) At times one Guna may be responsible for the creation of another Guna. Brahmandam or Universe consists of Trigunas (3 qualities) and its derivaties.
